| The membership committee is responsible for seeking out members within the production community and maintaining relationships with our current members. | |

with various committees to organize quarterly membership drives •
Working with local businesses, agencies, and universities to
recruit members • Working with other WIFT chapters to enhance and
facilitate relationships with our sister groups

| The Public Awareness committee is WIFT-FL’s in-house marketing and public relations resource. | |
| • Creating and sending out a quarterly newsletter • Managing the WIFT-FL website • Working with all of the other committees to collect news and information for publicity • Creating promotional material for prospective members, donors and sponsors • Managing relations with industry publications • Acting as the group’s press contact | |

Growing the infrastructure of the Florida production community is vital, thus this committee works with industry professionals and local universities to create mentorship opportunities for those breaking into the industry. This committee also oversees fundraising for and awarding of scholarship to promising students and members. |

As an addition to the Mentorship & Scholarship Committee the PSA Committee is charged with creating 1 Public Service Announcement each year for a local organization that benefits women and children. This committee will work with both industry professionals donating their time and students seeking to gain experience. |
