For our Sexual Harassment training, We will engage with participants for an hour on the following and gear it towards movie and commercial productions and how we can work together to make it a healthy work environment for everyone!

About Joshua Proffitt- 

Josh studied Political Science at Berea College in Kentucky before moving across the world to follow his passion for travel and community development as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal.   He comes to the Victim Service Center with a strong background in community outreach and engagement from his work with AmeriCorps, USAID, and the YWCA.  When he’s not training others in violence prevention, you can find him exploring the outdoors and getting lost on a long run.

The Victim Service Center of Central Florida provides free and confidential services to all victims of violent crime and traumatic circumstances.  The Victim Service Center (VSC) provides services for Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties, and we are the certified rape crisis center.  In 2017, VSC helped over 4,500 people in Central Florida.  We have a 24/7 helpline with our masters-level crisis advocates ready to assist victims and licensed therapists who help clients work through their past trauma to begin healing.  In addition to these services, we offer education and training on violence prevention, which include the following:
