Susan Janis-Mashayekhi is one of
the most familiar faces in the Florida television industry today.
During the last 15 years, she has worked on dozens of the most
high-profile productions taking place in the state, as well
as projects in
NY,
LA, DC and abroad. A graduate of Pepperdine |

University,
Susan began her career as a production manager and was soon
working on shows as diverse as “The Tony Awards”, the Atlanta
Olympic Games, “Oprah”, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, “Step
By Step” and several Disney specials for ABC. Susan also produced
a number of network primetime and daytime variety/music specials
featuring the likes of Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, 98 Degrees,
*N SYNC, Backstreet Boys, Sugar Ray, Christina Aguilera, Smash
Mouth, Destiny's Child, LeeAnn Rimes, Melt, LeeAnn Womak, Wynonna,
Raven, BBMak and M2M. Prior to joining Pink Sneakers Productions
Susan worked for Lightship Entertainment (and its sister company
Harborlight Entertainment) where she served as Vice President
of Production for over five years. During that time, Susan took
on the role of Producer and Executive in Charge of Production
for numerous ABC/Walt Disney World television specials as well
as a number of series for Animal Planet and the Travel Channel.
Her efforts were recognized in 2005 with a Daytime Emmy nomination
from the National Television Academy for her work producing
The Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade for ABC. From prep
to post, Susan has had her hand in every phase of production,
balanced equally by her business acumen and her famous sense
of humor. Her current role is to further guide Pink Sneakers
into becoming one of the nations's most innovative and sought-after
production companies. Susan served as President of Women In
Film & Television Florida from 2002-2005. She currently sits
on the Board of Directors for both WIFT FL and MCA-I. Susan
credits her accomplishments to a strong work ethic and a passion
for the television industry. |
