Women in Film & Television Florida (WIFT-FL) works hard to provide educational and networking opportunities for both women and men in the film, television, and digital media industry in the state of Florida. WIFT-FL advocates for parity in the entertainment industry and energizes members by illuminating their achievements, presenting training and professional development programs, awarding scholarships and grants, and providing access to a supportive community of peers.

Featured MemberIt is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our cherished WIFT-FL Board Member, Bobbi Hill. Bobbi was a devoted member of Women in Film & Television Florida since 2005, and she has served with dedication and distinction on our Board of Directors since 2015. She was also the visionary leader who created the WIFT-FL Tampa Bay Branch, building a vibrant community that continues to thrive because of her passion and commitment. For twenty years, Bobbi brought heart, wisdom, and an unwavering dedication to uplifting women in our industry. Her leadership shaped many of the programs and initiatives that define WIFT-FL today. She was always the first to volunteer, the first to encourage others, and the first to lend her expertise whenever it was needed. Her presence brought warmth, humor, and a spirit of generosity that touched everyone around her. Her loss is deeply felt across our entire WIFT-FL family. We honor her extraordinary service, her friendship, and the powerful legacy she leaves behind — not only in the programs she built, but in the lives of the women she mentored and supported. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, and all who loved her. |
